Your Niche Fishing Holes - How To Find White Hot Niches In Seconds
Author: Fabian Tan
If there is one lesson that I have learned well as a successful Internet marketer, it is this: The money is in the niche! You see, even without a subscriber list, you can still make wads of cash online. But without a hyper-responsive niche, your business is a dead duck. You need to find real white hot niches to strike a fortune online.
In this article, I'll go through the step-by-step method I use to uncover profitable niche markets, often in just seconds.
Step 1: Go To Amazon
Amazon is the world's biggest online bookstore, and a goldmine of niche research information. Check out which are the current bestsellers. Are there many weight loss books or wealth management books? See which are the current hot topics that people are buying.
Step 2: Go To Magazines.com
Now that you've found a few niches that are potentially profitable, it's time to scope it out further a little. Visit magazines.com to see which magazines are popular. If a company is willing to produce magazine each and every month, it means they are a profit and the niche is hot. Strike on it!
Step 3: Keyword Research
Now that you have a few niches in mind, go to a good keyword research website like freekeywords.wordtracker.com to get a feel of how many searches are done per month for that niche. For example, if your niche is fly fishing, type in 'fly fishing' and see how many results there are. You are looking for at least a few thousand searches a month. Decide which niche you want to go with, and move on.
Step 4: Visit The Forums
Go visit the forums in your niche. It's time to discover the problems your target market is facing. After all, to make a profit, you need to create a product that solves problems.Discussion forums are a great place to find these problems. Look for hotly debated topics and hot questions that often draw passionate responses.

Build A Money Making Niche Website
Build A Money Making Niche Website
Author: Fitzgerald Elliott
Niche Marketing at its best helps to solve people problems
daily. If you can come up with a product or service to promote
in a niche market, to help people solve their problems, you will
be off to a good start.
You will be able to build a money making niche website, and you
can quickly build an opt-in list of thousands of potential
customers. Everyone has problems of some sort... they need help,
some sort of advice.
If you are new to online marketing and came with your own
product ides or service, all is well and dandy... but if you
don't have a product or service to start with, start searching
the forums...
A good way to find out what people are looking for to solve
their problems, is to visit the forums. People discuss their
problems on forums.
They discuss problems that they wont talk to their best friend
about, so they can remain anonymous. And they look for solutions
online for this same reason, anonymity...
By visiting the forums, you can find out what people are most
concerned about. Take your notes and research the product or
service and provide it for them, earning your commission in the
process.
If you gather all the information you can find about the topic,
you can star to write articles on it, or have articles written
for you cheaply.
By writing lots of original content on the topic, you can build
a content rich website for that niche market, to help with the
problems you have identified, and that will serve the needs of
the people.
Another good way to use the forums to help you build a niche
market website, is to join as many forums as you can. Identify
the problems that are being discuss the most. Post a question
that will produce lots of responses, and use the responses to
write an e-book or report on the topic.
Many people will purchase an e-book that is filled with the
information they are looking for. They will also purchase books
that will tell them what other people, with the same problem
they have, are doing about their problems.
There are also some tools on the web that can help you find
niche markets quickly, saving you lots of time and effort.

Google Suggest for Niche Market Research
Google Suggest for Niche Market Research
Author: Digital Info Diva™
If you use keyword information for website pages, niche markets, niche products, Google Adwords or anything else, then this issomething you really must be looking at. As a keyword idea"brainstorming" method it surely can have few equals.
And did I mention that it's completely FREE?
Are you using Google Suggest? You can see it in action athttp://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en by entering anyword or phrase. To use the function, your browser must beInternet Explorer 6.0 (or newer), Netscape 7.1 (or newer),Mozilla 1.4 (or newer), Firefox 0.8 (or newer), Opera 7.54 (ornewer), or Safari 1.2.2 (or newer). You'll also need to haveboth JavaScript and cookies enabled.
I have several ways I do keyword research depending on what Ineed keywords for. A few months ago, a friend mentioned GoogleSuggest, a tool I had not heard of. He had to explain it to meseveral times until the light went on in my brain. I had seen itwhile using the search box on the Google Toolbar, but I didn'tstop to investigate and see that it's not just showing yourrecent searches.
WHAT IS GOOGLE SUGGEST?
This is one of Google's recent developments and what a greattool it is for finding keywords. The idea behind it is likepredictive texting like you get on mobile cell phones. You starttyping something and the software looks at what you are typingand finishes it off for you.
To give you an idea, I'll provide a few examples of how it worksto provide you with actual high search words as you areperforming a Google search. This example will use the phrase"real estate."
I started with the broadest, most generic term that could beapplied so I typed "real estate" into the search box and here'swhat happened.
1. When I got to "real es", Google completed the box anddisplayed these results:
real estate
real estate.com
real estate.com.au
real estate listings
real estate agents
real estate agent
real estate Australia
real estate news
real estate license
real estate listing
So before I had even finished typing in the search query,Google had come up with some new ideas that I could use foranother search!
Out of these 10 results, the following were of interest to me:real estate listings, real estate agents, and real estatelicense. 2. I can now use these results to perform a new search,so as an example I'll take "real estate agent". Here's theresults of that search:
real estate agents
Real estate agent salary
real estate agent mail
real estate agent seattle
real estate agents Melbourne
real estate agent fees
real estate agents Sydney
real estate agent training
real estate agents brisbane
This throws up a few more results that I can drill down a bitfurther, real estate agent salary, real estate agent mail, realestate agent fees and real estate agent training.
I would do the same again with real estate news, real estatelistings, and real estate license (from Step 1) which would giveme new results that I could use.
Are you starting to see the power of this method for generatingsets and subsets of keywords? 3. Now we go back and continuewith the original search, which was "real estate". As we type ineach letter, the 10 results change to produce new ideas that wecan use, for example:
real estate for sale
This is another useful keyword that I can use.
So from my original search "real estate" I now have thefollowing list:
real estate
real estate.com
real estate.com.au
real estate listings
real estate agents
real estate agent
real estate australia
real estate news
real estate license
real estate listing
real estate agents
real estate agent salary
real estate agent mail
real estate agent seattle
real estate agents melbourne
real estate agent fees
real estate agents sydney
real estate agent training
real estate agents Brisbane
real estate for sale
Again these can be plugged into Google Suggest to see what elseit displays so there's a lot more terms that I can find thatwould be great for a project but that should be enough to letyou see how it works.
The great thing about the results that you're getting is thatthey are based on search popularity, from information Google hassaved from actual searches. If you look at the numbers to theright of the search terms returned, you get an instant pictureof how popular these searches are on the internet.
Now Google doesn't exactly spell this out, but the 10 resultsthat you see are placed in order of number of searches.
Alongside is the number of search page results for the term, soyou can do an instant evaluation as to what are going to be thephrases worth going after. If a term is getting a lot ofsearches and doesn't have much competition - you have found anew project to work on!
You can also use Google Suggest in the Google Toolbar, but itdoes not return the actual number of searches. Still a great wayto start brainstorming a new project or to quickly find wordsand phrases people are searching on.

Go Link Fishing with these Linkbaiting Hooks

If you're a blogger or website owner then you've run into the
issue of finding traffic to your site. It isn't that people
don't trust you, well some don't, but the fact is most people
just have never heard of you or your website. It isn't that big
of a problem. It happens to every site once and awhile. Even
recognized blogs sometimes need a boost in traffic. Linkbaiting
is the answer all search engine optimization services will give
you.
Good linkbait comes from great content. Your linkbait content
needs to make a promise to the reader about what they will be
reading, learning, or achieving from your site. All of the
subsequent content should be devoted to meeting this promise.
A good hook will help you meet this goal by keeping the content
focused. The hook should have the potential to immediately pull
the reader in and generate some sort of emotional response. Here
are some of the most common types of hooks used by website

A good hook will help you meet this goal by keeping the content
focused. The hook should have the potential to immediately pull
the reader in and generate some sort of emotional response. Here
are some of the most common types of hooks used by website
owners for linkbait and search engine optimization purposes:
- News Hook - A good news hook happens when you
are the first to report a story. By doing so everyone who then
carries your story should then link to you as being the original
source. You don't need to have insider information to get a
scoop you can just be the first to publicly foresee something or
to come to a controversial conclusion. Be careful with this type
of hook if your scoop turns out to be false. It will make other
bloggers and writers unwilling to reference your site again as a
credible source. - Resource Hook - A resource hook is when you write a
particularly helpful piece of content that everyone will want to
bookmark for future reference. This may be the easiest hook to
write and the most fun. As opposed to a news hook, a resource
hook encourages people to link to and bookmark it for long
periods of time. It becomes content that naturally obtains
trusted, relevant backlinks just by sitting there with no
updates. How can you go wrong? - Humor Hook - Everyone loves to laugh, especially at
others in the industry or niche they share. Most markets have so
little humor that anything you say can bring out a chuckle and
hopefully, a link. By even directly mentioning leading industry
people, you may get a link by flattering them. - Giveaway Hook - Anyone who ever attended some sort of
industry conference knows that they'll never need to go shopping
for pens, highlighters, key rings, and loads of over freebie
junk. Companies give things away at events because, when
directed towards the correct audience, giveaways are a great way
to drive sales and get a return better and quicker than ordinary
advertising. Websites are no different. - Contrary Hook - There are times when to get a link
you disprove a common industry myth. This is called a contrary
hook. There are few areas of the blogosphere which have certain
beliefs that are known to be self-evident such all sports
writers believing Barry Bonds cheated. Calling these people out
and proving they are wrong will usually incite them into talking
about you, and more importantly linking to you. - Research/Statistic Hook - Maybe one day you are bored
and start to compile some industry number. A post like this will
undoubtedly get a lot of link love. This works quite well in new
and untouched markets. While a scientifically-conducted study
with valid methodology can get better links, truth is that
nearly everything and anything can pass as research on the
web.

Making money on the Internet is nothing like as easy as it'smade out to be by all those people telling you otherwise.Despite all the information and promises on how to make moneyonline, the vast majority of people will, sadly, fail. Don't beone of them!
The reasons for this are varied. Here are just a few reasons whythe majority fail, and how you can avoid them and be successful.
1) Mental Attitude is probably the biggest, yet leastacknowledged, reason why people fail to make money online.
Not only the natural, and normal, fear of failure either.Theirsubconscious negative mental barriers stop them actually wantingto succeed and make money. The fear is that they will becomegreedy, and obsessive, leaving less time to spend with familyand friends. Or, believe it or not, think they will not knowwhat to do with the extra money they earn.
Obviously, these barriers have to be overcome and people have toconsciously want to succeed, want to have more money to spend onfamily, friends and/or themselves. If you have failed beforeperhaps the first thing to do is to ask yourself why, and lookinto your motivation. Do you have the hunger for success that isessential if you are to succeed. As that old saying goes 'Whereyou are in life is where you want to be' - so start by wantingto be somewhere much better.
2) Lack of a proper method or system to follow.
There are many e-books and courses available online to help yousucceed, but unfortunately most of them are just theory andfluff. All mouth and no trousers, as we say in the UK. Very feware step-by-step guides and even those that are often miss outthe one vital step needed for success.
3) Competing with the experts, big spenders and the majority ofInternet marketeers.
If you are just getting started it is almost impossible tocompete successfully with people who are many times moreexperienced at making money online than you are. If you aretrying to sell Internet marketing products as an Affiliate, orselling your own product(s) online, and enter a market where thecompetition is so much stronger than you in every way you'rebound to have problems
It doesn't matter what method you use - PPC, SEO, etc the marketplace was probably saturated even before you came along so youare almost bound to fail. Even entering other markets such asdog training, acne, pregnancy which once were niche markets buthave become so popular now that they are no longer anything ofthe sort.
It is necessary to know how to effectively target niche markets, and penetrate those profitable little gems on the world wide webto really succeed online. This could just be one of the bestpieces of advice a new online marketer could receive!
So you see, despite the loads of crap out there, despitestudying the million e-books, courses, memberships and reportson how to make money online with so little success, it CAN bedone.

Finding The Most Profitable Affiliate Niche Markets
Finding The Most Profitable Affiliate Niche Markets
Author: Dave McDuff
Niche marketing can be very profitable as long as you can findniches in need of informational products. Niche marketing can bethe perfect online business for those dabbling in Internetmarketing or those who are looking for an easier way to sellproducts. One reason is because it's much easier to find smallgroups of people who are not being catered to and create aproduct just for them than it is to break into larger marketssaturated with products that are too similar to one another.
Finding Niche Markets
In reality, there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of nichemarkets online. The only way to find them, however, is throughcareful research. Using tools provided by Google includingGoogle trends, Google Sets, and Google Directories, you will beable to narrow down potential niche topics in order to findthose that have the potential to be profitable.
There is a delicate balance when looking for niche markets, however. While you want to find a niche with a smaller audience, you don't want to choose a niche that is so small; it will notyield much of a profit. Also, if there are one or two productsare already being sold to the niche, then you may not be able tobreak into a market that is already saturated.
When researching potential niche markets, you may also want tovisit online auction sites, online book sellers, and affiliatemarketing sites to see which topics people are the mostinterested in. Because most niches have a short life span, finding the latest information will help you the most.
If you find all of this research to be time consuming, you'renot alone. But if you choose to skip the research and create aproduct without having a better understanding of what a niche'sneeds are, you may be wasting your time because the profits maynot be as high as you had hoped.
Easier Ways to Research Niche Markets
Since the bulk of your niche marketing research revolves aroundkeywords, there is research software such as ZamDoo that canhelp reduce the amount of time you spend researching nichemarkets. ZamDoo is ad-monitoring software that helps you locatepopular pay-per-click ads based on the keywords you want toresearch. This software sifts through thousands of PPC ads foundon Google, Yahoo, and MSN and retrieves the ones that are themost popular.
While ZamDoo was created to help those in Internet marketingfind the best keywords to use in their advertising campaigns andPPC marketing efforts, as a niche marketer, you will be able tonarrow down your list of potential niches by seeing how popularthey are, how many products are already available, and how largethe niche is overall. By using ZamDoo in conjunction with othertools, you can reduce your research time and find profitableniches in a shorter amount of time.
Increase Your Productivity
Another advantage of ZamDoo is that you can create severalmarketing campaigns at once. This allows you to research severalpotential niches at the same time. Since niches are usuallypopular only for a short time, you need to be able to quicklyfind a niche, decide if it looks profitable, create a productand a website, and market that product in a limited amount oftime. By conducting research on other niches while creating aproduct for a current one, you can stay a few steps ahead ofyour competition and close in on the niche before anyone elsedoes. With ZamDoo, you can choose from four categories, Silver,Gold, Platinum, and Titanium to suit your needs. The majordifference between these categories is the number of keywordsyou can search per month, which range from 5,000 to 20,000keywords. Depending on the number of potential niches you wantto search, you will find that each category offers an ampleamount of keyword searches.
About the author:Dave McDuff is the co-founder of the internet marketing suite oftools called "ZamDoo".
